In Space, Everything is Cool

This week we did clean-up, a rough scene from Balto. More fun than I thought it'd be. A great way to practice both drawing and animating. Not sure how to show it here, I mean there's not much point in showing the cleaned up version without the rough for comparison. And I'm not sure I'm allowed to show the rough.

Anyway, wanted to put something to look at so here's a paint scribble from today. She's hunting tentacle.

How About This

Now, I don't want this blog to just be linetests. That's not gonna do anyone any good - would be boring too, I think, in the long run. So I'm gonna put a few images here and there that relate to animation somehow, like telling a story or showing characters. Anyway, digital painting:
